SDG 2: End hunger

Collaboration for years with the Help2Orphans (http://www.help2orphans.com/) Foundation of Finland through support for Karen refugees and orphans located in bordering villages in Thailand. Apart from teaching young girls how to sew and embroider their own clothes, whenever possible TIKA funds food supply for widows and orphans in the region.

SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy

TIKA’s workshop is fully equipped with Led lights, reducing energy consumption necessary for manufacture.

SDG 8: Decent work for all

With the new collaboration with the Xamfrà Foundation (https://www.fundacioxamfra.cat/es/), TIKA creates decent workplaces and economic opportunities for all.

Most of the products TIKA creates are based on a local and circular economy, which favours dissociation between economic growth and environmental degradation.

SDG 10: Reduced inequalities

Through collaboration with the Xamfrà Foundation, TIKA offers job opportunities to people at risk of social exclusion and therefore favors their insertion into the world of work, which reduces the inequalities that this group can normally find.

SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production

By creating bags on demand made with recycled or reused raw material, TIKA uses only the raw material necessary for the creation of unique bags, and therefore avoids generation of stocks or waste.
